Participating in the 24th International Conference on Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (SIMS-24) held in La Rochelle, France, proved to be another great experience! I thoroughly enjoyed teaching a short course on data analysis for newcomers to the field. It was especially gratifying to see the oral presentations by Kimberly Garcia, Mariya Shamraeva and Caroline Bouvier from my group, as well as Edith Sandström from Ian Anthony's group. Additionally, there was the noteworthy plenary given by M4i Director Ron M.A. Heeren. In short, a great meeting and I already look forward to SIMS Europe 2025 in Gießen, Germany.
