Proud to have shared the stage with Jordy Saya at the PAS Festival 2026! We presented our talk, "Chemie is niet vies: hoe chemie bijdraagt aan de oplossingen van morgen" (Chemistry isn't dirty: how chemistry contributes to tomorrow's solutions). It was a great opportunity to dive into how chemistry is actively driving sustainable innovation and tackling the big challenges of the future. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the session!

Thrilled to have co-taught the short course "Imaging & Direct/Ambient Analysis" at IMSC 2026 in Lyon. It was a privilege to share the stage with and learn from my co-instructors, Ingela Lanekoff and Julien Franck. Thank you to all the participants who joined us! Your insightful questions and engagement made it a very rewarding experience.

Kimberly Garcia, Sara Santos Bernardes, and I participated (alongside former group member Caroline Bouvier) in the 1st EuroMass Imaging 2026 (EMI2026) Spring Workshop, which took place from April 8 to 10, 2026, at the University of Luxembourg (Belval campus). Sara delivered a presentation on the integration of bulk lipidomics and MALDI imaging to explore lipid distribution in cutaneous melanoma, while Kimberly showcased her research through a poster presentation.

It was a pleasure to be a speaker at From Molecule to Patient (M2P) at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht on January 28, 2026, so I could share what mass spectrometry imaging can bring to the table.

It was a delight to participate in the CHAINS 2025 conference held in Veldhoven. I also had the honor of serving as a member of the poster jury in the FMC track! I thoroughly appreciated the opportunity to observe the research conducted by these young scientists in the Netherlands. Kimberly was also able to present her work as a poster, albeit not in person.
